Welcome to our new-look web site.

We hope you enjoy exploring it. You will find that little has changed to the way the site is navigated or to the content.

The improvements that we have made over the past few months on our old layout have been carried over:-

  • New senior roster
  • New senior and youth coaching staff pages
  • New stats system
  • Embedding the gallery into our pages.

You may have noticed that the 2008 semi-final & bowl game photographs and the photographs from 2009 senior games 1 to 4 can now be viewed from our gallery. Prints of photographs can be purchased from our photographer; danh, by clicking on the photobox link on the black bar above.

Constructive suggestions about our web site are always welcome. Please send them to me via the Contacts tab above.

The London Blitz  American Football team extended their unbeaten run to five straight games with a 28-14 win over the Bristol Aztecs.

The Bristol Aztecs kicked the game off into beautiful June sunshine; the kick was a long and good one, with the ball rolling out the back of the end zone for a touchback.  The Blitz offense started their opening possession on their own 20 yard line.  The drive started purposefully with running back Gareth Dauley picking up 13 yards and 34 yards on his first two rushes getting as far as the red zone.  Purposeful as it was, the drive stalled.  Going for it on fourth down, the offense came up just short, resulting in a turnover on downs. Can't tackle Bish with just an arm

Between Sunday the 21st of June to Sunday the 16th of August, we have seven exciting home games for you to come and watch - four senior and three youth, ending with an exciting double header with both youth and senior teams playing against their Farnham Knights counterparts.

We start off though on the 21st of June when our Senior team plays host to the Bristol Aztecs, a team with which we have a long standing rivalry and our games are always tough and physical.

All our games are in the Stadium at Finsbury Park. Kickoff time varies so check with the schedules via the Senior and Youth tabs on the left. The first game against the Bristol Aztecs kicks off at 14:30.

Entrance is free and inside, you should find programmes, food, drink and hopefully, supporters clothing on sale.
